Species of Spaces.

Based off of George Perc’s “Species of spaces” where a collection of images featuring the bed, the apartment, and the street make up a narrative of being stuck in the same space. Relates to 2020 and the quarantine of COVID-19. I took pictures of these various spaces including outside areas and made a book with a playful theme of images that consists of certain shapes that fade into one another. Concept is based off of ‘This Equals That’ which is a children’s picture book by Jason Fulford and Tamara Shopsin which matches pairs of images by shapes which continues in a large circle and eventually ends at the beginning.
